The Sunday School is the primary teaching ministry of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Our adult Sunday School classes are designed to teach the Bible effectively and in a way that applies to the living level of our daily lives, as well as providing a unique form of fellowship inside the church.
Currently, owe have three adult classes, with plans for more:
THE BEST YEARS CLASS. This class is for our senior saints, and is taught by retired pastor Charles Chandler. The suggested age group for this class is 60 and better.
The Old School Men’s Bible Study is taught by Pastor Rasbeary and meets in the upstairs of the 2-story education building.
The Kindred Hearts Ladies’ Bible Study is taught by Mrs. Rasbeary and meets downstairs in the education building.
SPECIAL EVENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE
Throughout the year, our church has special events designed to help, strengthen, equip and encourage the members of LBC. Some of these events are specifically for adults, while others are for the entire family.
Our church also has many opportunities for members who want to serve the Lord. There is always an opportunity to serve in one of our various ministries: Sunday School, nursery, bus ministry, ushers, music, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, yard maintenance, soul-winning, etc. We encourage the adults of LBC to get involved in the ministry of the church.
